Who Are We?
Denormal Audio is Kurt Feldman and Raphael Radna, two lifelong friends and musical collaborators. The company aims to offer modern, innovative music production tools that explore new sounds and novel workflows.
Kurt Feldman is an audio professional based in New York City. His production and engineering work spans decades of independent music, with credits on numerous critically acclaimed albums, EPs, and singles for both emerging and established artists. Currently, Kurt is Lead Sound Designer for the sound branding agency Listen. For over ten years, he has helped shape the sound of globally recognized brands like Tinder, Spotify, Kia, Ford, Audacy, Disney+ and Microsoft. He also composes music and sound for video games.
Raphael Radna is a composer, musician, educator, and audio developer based in New York City. He creates interactive software for music composition and performance, including some popular free and open source releases. Raphael has also contributed to projects by Arturia and Cycling ‘74, where he is a Max Certified Trainer. He holds a PhD in Music Composition and MS in Media Arts and Technology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Together they have made music in Depreciation Guild and Ice Choir.
